Speaker Biography
For the past 14 years, I have built my career around advancing Data Quality, Governance, and Stewardship, with a particular focus on developing Data Quality as a core organizational capability. I bring both a technical foundation and a holistic understanding of the business processes, people, and technology environments that shape how data is created, maintained, and trusted.
Throughout my career, I have combined deep technical expertise—including proficiency in data access, analysis, and programming—with a passion for advancing best practices in the broader data community. I have had the opportunity to present at conferences, contribute to communities of practice, and co-author white papers in collaboration with GS1, sharing insights on global data standards and interoperability.
At my current organization, I lead a team of six analysts dedicated to driving data quality efforts. One of our most significant initiatives has been the development and evolution of our enterprise data quality scorecard, now in its fourth integration. This dashboard and scoring system has matured alongside the organization, helping leadership recognize the tangible value of trusted and reliable data. Prior to this role, I led a software development team that created a proprietary business rules engine, which successfully prevented poor-quality information from entering our ecosystem for nearly a decade.
