Greg Cathey has dedicated over three decades to Walmart, starting his journey as an hourly associate in 1994 at Store 318 in Arkadelphia, AR. Throughout his career, Greg has held numerous roles within the organization. His tenure at Sam’s Club spanned a decade, where he excelled as VP/Regional General Manager in Operations, VP of Sam’s Club Global Leverage, and lead merchant over Electronics. Greg's expertise extended to Walmart International, where he served as VP of Partnership Services and Franchise.

In 2019, Greg was named CEO of Sam’s Club Mexico, overseeing all 165 Sam’s Clubs in Mexico. His leadership encompassed Merchandising, Operations, eCommerce, Marketing, and Membership. Today, Greg is the Senior Vice President of Digital Fulfillment Transformation at Walmart, where he spearheads the company’s vision for the future of fulfillment. In this role, Greg is responsible for accelerating speed, convenience, and customer satisfaction by driving innovation in post-purchase services, automation, and last-mile delivery.

Greg's mission is to embed product thinking into the business, accelerate innovation, and drive transformation that enhances the customer and associate experience, speed, and efficiency. He is renowned for his belief that the best ideas come from those closest to the work. Greg is passionate about fostering an environment for bold thinking, rapid execution, and meaningful impact.

In addition to his role at Walmart, Greg serves as a Member of the Board of Directors for CASA of Northwest Arkansas, is a Board Member of the Walmart Associates in Critical Need Trust and is a Board of Governors Member for GS1 US.

On a personal note, Greg has been a long-time resident of Northwest Arkansas, where he lives with his wife of 30 years and their four children.
