As the Executive Director – Optimization, I'm responsible for creating strategy, facilitating, leading and aligning resources, while enhancing processes in the optimization of care throughout Mercy’s clinical operations. I lead a multi-faceted portfolio of highly visible, sensitive programs and strategies that span all aspects of nursing operations (acute, perioperative and procedural), quality/safety and finance. In collaboration with Mercy’s Chief Nurse Executive, Chief Nursing Officers and executive leaders across the system I drive the execution of transformational strategies and process improvement methodologies to improve caregiver experience and positively impact patient outcomes.
