Ned Mears is Global Standards Director at GS1 US, a not-for-profit organization that develops and promotes the usage of interoperable standards to identify, capture, and share data. He specializes in the development and application of RFID standards and technology. Prior to his work at GS1 US, Ned worked for an RFID solution provider and managed global operations for their apparel labeling division. He has experience in a variety of fields including systems design, production management, variable data management and digital printing technology.
